Susan, Michael, Erin and Connor xxxx

I was privileged to have Anne in my life for 32 years. I am thankful every day that you chose Glasgow University where you met my brother Mark. Annes academic achievements were outstanding, however she never really accepted true recognition for them, she was extremely modest and humble. I used to tell her all the time how proud we all were of her. Anne absolutely loved her job and missed it terribly when she had to retire. Anne was the kindest most , caring person and had the best sense of humour , she would always brighten up a room. Family and friends meant the world to Anne and she was the most amazing wife to Mark and the most wonderful mum to Rachel. We were very fortunate to be a massive part of that. Anne was my sister in law by name however in my heart she was my sister and my best friend. Anne was always there for the 4 of us no matter where she was in the world or what she was doing. She was always organising weekends or holidays for us, they were all filled with such fun and laughter. She was the most wonderful Auntie to Erin and connor they classed her as a 2nd mum and absolutely adored her. Words can not begin to describe how devastated we are that you are no longer with us Anne. Our hearts are broken. We think of you every second of every day. We have countless happy memories to look back on, weekends , holidays , Christmases which through time we will be so grateful for. We will carry you in our future and our hearts forever love Susan, Michael, Erin and Connor xx
